Old Man Winter, Jack Frost

I took the day off to go snowboarding with one of my friends at Jack Frost in White Haven, PA. It was a small mountain, but that doesn’t mean there weren’t good trails. In fact, there are a couple decently steep trails if you’re up for a challenge. When I first arrived, I was confused because I didn’t see any large mountains around the parking lot, but then I realized that is because the parking is at the top of the trails, which is pretty unusual for ski mountains. It was a perfect day to ride. Despite what the attached picture may imply, there were no clouds on the other side of this camera. Because I went during the week, the lines were almost nonexistent and I was able to get many runs in. Also located at Jack Frost was a terrain park with numerous features including dance boxes, rails, and jumps. There was also an interesting feature where the rider can go over a wooden shack. Surprisingly, the wood on the roof was not sticky at all and makes it easy to ride over the whole thing. I had a great time and would recommend Jack Frost for any skier/snowboarder who wants to get a relaxing day in with the ability to go down the variety of trails they have (multiple times if you would like).
